Learning...?

Okay, I love learning things (I'm 15, and have a good knowledge of mathematics including calculus, and also know quite a bit about physics) Lately though, I get distracted easily and can get bored with what I am doing. Any suggestions for concentration/motivation/ect.. This has nothing to do with school, and it is not anything that I need to learn, this is just stuff I do occasionally on my free time. I think cutey_kira might be right :-\

  1. Try learning about something that you wouldn't normally be interested in...Maybe you need a new hobby or something else to do because you are bored.
  2. David La Pierre i think that you are geting distracted because there might be something/someone on ur mind and if it is the case you need to discuss the matter with either the person or a close friend so that you can resolve your problem. 3. give me ur email. Ive got sum thing to balance ur concentration level. I can mail it to u. Mine is shaminy_devi@yahoo.com
  4. I found that learning to meditate increased my ability to focus on anything. i recommend tai chi or aikido or any martial art to increase your focus ability. it really makes a difference for me in being able to not get distracted. Or yoga. Any physical practice with mediative component.
  5. Have you considered playing an instrument? It will satisfy the need to learn give you a chance to use your math skills and the prolonged concentration of thinking will help you focus and you will never be bored. There is that much to learn, but you must stir up the motivation to practice. Piano or guitar are great to start. FYI I am a music teacher. I teach violin, voice and piano.
